
How To Make Homemade Duck Sauce
Have a great barbecue with this homemade duck sauce recipe. Made with apricot preserves and pickled plum for a tangy, sweet, and salty taste perfect for meat.

Ingredients
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1½ tbsp hot water
- 3 tbsp apricot preserves
- 1 salted pickled plum
- ½ tsp liquid from salted pickled plum jar
- â…› tsp soy sauce
- ÂĽ tsp rice vinegar
Instructions
- In a small bowl, add the sugar and stir with hot water until the sugar is dissolved then add the apricot preserves.
- Remove the seed from the pickled plum and add the plum to the bowl. Add ½ teaspoon of the liquid from the pickled plum. Add the soy sauce and rice vinegar.
- Using a fork or a whisk, mix everything together until everything is incorporated. Let the sauce sit for 5 minutes and whisk again.
