How To Make Herbed White Bean Dip

A 3-step bean dip recipe that makes you a bowl of vegan white bean dip with fresh, tangy, and herby flavors.

Ingredients

  • 15 oz white kidney beans, cannellini, rinsed, drained
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 large garlic clove, chopped
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ¼ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper

For Garnish:

  • parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Puree the ingredients in a processor until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a shallow bowl.*
  3. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper, oregano, or chopped parsley if desired.
  4. Serve and enjoy!

*Can be made 1 day ahead. Cover and chill then let it stand for 30 minutes at room temperature before serving.
