How To Make Garlic Tomato Dip

A small yet wonderful addition to any dinner table! This garlic tomato dip is Italian-inspired through and through. A wonderful blend of tomatoes, herbs and spices that would surely go well with freshly baked bread, pasta, or even your breakfast omelette.

Ingredients

  • 3 to tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 tsp sugar, granulated
  • 1 tbsp oregano, dried
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 red chili, thin
  • 1 tbsp cilantro, chopped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients, except the cilantro, salt and pepper, in a blender for a few seconds until the ingredients are coarsely chopped.
  2. Mix in the cilantro, salt and pepper before serving.
