This shrimp dip recipe is extremely cheesy and packed with a perfect balance of spices. This will surely be a hit at your next family party!

Ingredients

  • 1tbspbutter
  • ¼cuponion,diced
  • 1lbshrimp,peeled, cooked and chopped
  • 8ozcream cheese
  • ½cupmayonnaise
  • 1tbsplemon juice
  • 2dasheshot sauce
  • ½tspdill weed
  • ½tspold bay seasoning
  • ¼tspgarlic powder
  • 1cupcheddar cheese,shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Cook onion in 1 tablespoon of butter for about 5 minutes, or until tender but not browned.

  3. Beat onion, cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, hot sauce, dill weed, old bay seasoning, and garlic powder with a mixer until fluffy.

  4. Fold in shrimp meat and ¾ cup of the cheddar cheese.

  5. Place in a small baking dish and top with remaining cheese.

  6. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Broil if needed.
