How To Make Easy Indian Raita

Try your hand on this rich and flavorful Indian raita dip with a side of chips! It’s creamy, well-seasoned, and takes only 5 minutes to make.

Ingredients

  • 1tspcanola oil
  • ½tspwhole cumin seeds
  • 1cupplain yogurt
  • ½cupcucumber,minced finely
  • ½tspkosher salt
  • 1tbspgreen onions,chopped, whites only
  • ½tspground coriander
  • ½tspground cumin

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, add the canola oil, then heat on high heat.

  2. Add in the cumin seeds, then cook for 15 to 20 seconds.

  3. In a medium bowl, mix the yogurt, cucumber, salt, green onions, coriander, cumin, and cumin seeds until combined.

  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

  5. Serve with chips, and enjoy!
