How To Make Chocolate Syrup
Rich, silky, and luscious, this chocolate syrup needs only five ingredients and is the perfect topping for ice cream, cookies, cakes, and brownies.

- 1cupsugar
- ½cupunsweetened cocoa
- ½cupcold water
- 1tbspbutter
- 2tspvanilla
Instructions

Whisk together the sugar and cocoa in a medium pot until all lumps are gone.

Add water and butter and turn to medium heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Bring to simmer, stirring constantly for about 1 minute.

Remove from heat and add vanilla once the mixture is cooled. Stir until combined and place in a glass jar and refrigerate. Reheat when read to serve.
