This bulgogi sauce recipe is a Korean condiment that will add flavor to your dishes. Great when paired with grilled or fried meat for that added savory, spicy taste.

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp gochujang, (Korean fermented chili paste)
  • 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey, or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ginger, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
  • black pepper, to taste
  • 1 spicy red pepper, minced (optional, for hotter bulgogi sauce)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add soy sauce, chili paste, vinegar, sesame oil, honey, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Whisk together until well combined.
  3. Season with black pepper and add chiles if preferred. Taste and adjust if necessary.
