How To Make Avocado Cilantro Dressing

You will love the guacamole-like taste of this cilantro dressing made with jalapeno, lime juice, and flavorful spices. Serve these over salads and more!

Ingredients

  • 1avocado,peeled, pitted
  • 1garlic clove,peeled
  • ½small jalapeño
  • cupfresh cilantro leaves,loosely-packed
  • 3tbsplime juice,fresh
  • 2tbspextra-virgin olive oil
  • 2tbspred wine vinegar,or apple cider vinegar
  • ½tspground cumin
  • ¼tspKosher salt
  • ¼tspblack pepper
  • ½cupwater

Instructions

  1. Combine the avocado, garlic, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, red wine vinegar, cumin, salt, pepper, and ¼ cup of water in a blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.  

  2. Taste and season with extra salt and pepper, if needed.

  3. Add a few extra tablespoons of water to thin out the dressing to desired consistency.

  4. Serve immediately over salads, and enjoy!
