How To Make Thanksgiving Turkey Tetrazzini Casserole Recipe

Creamy pasta, mixed with leftover Thanksgiving turkey, and baked with a cheesy golden top.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.

  3. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.

  4. Meanwhile, In a large skillet, sauté onions and garlic in butter over medium heat until softened.

  5. Whisk in flour and gradually add chicken broth, milk, salt and pepper, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.

  6. Remove from heat. Stir in Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese until melted.

  7. Add cooked spaghetti and turkey to the sauce, tossing until well coated.

  8. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish.

  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
