How To Make Maple Walnut Christmas Fudge Recipe

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
  • 2 cups of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 1 cup of chopped walnuts
  • 2 cups of white chocolate chips
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.

  2. In a saucepan, combine butter, sugar, evaporated milk, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and salt.

  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved and mixture comes to a boil.

  4. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, for 10-12 minutes or until mixture reaches soft ball stage (238°F on a candy thermometer).

  5. Remove from heat and stir in white chocolate chips until melted and smooth.

  6. Add chopped walnuts and stir until well combined.

  7. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish and let cool at room temperature until fudge is set.

  8. Once cool, cut into squares and serve.
