This cozy and sweet dish is perfect for chilly evenings. Warm apples and cinnamon come together in a creamy bread pudding.

  • 4 cups of cubed day-old bread
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Grease a small baking dish.

  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and melted butter.

  4. Add the cubed bread and apples to the mixture and stir well to coat.
