How To Make Mushroom and Bacon Salad

A savory and satisfying salad featuring tender mushrooms and crispy bacon.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. sliced button mushrooms
  • 4 slices bacon, diced
  • 4 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette dressing

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.

  2. In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms and cook until tender and golden brown.

  3. In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, cooked mushrooms, bacon, cherry tomatoes, and blue cheese.

  4. Drizzle the salad with the balsamic vinaigrette and toss until well coated.

  5. Serve immediately.
