How To Make Lentil Loaf Recipe
This vegetarian dish is a hearty and flavorful alternative to traditional meatloaf.

Ingredients
- 1 cup green lentils, cooked and mashed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine mashed lentils, breadcrumbs, onion, carrot, garlic, tomato paste, thyme, sage, smoked paprika, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Grease a loaf pan with olive oil and transfer the lentil mixture into the pan, smoothing out the top with a spoon.

Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is browned and crispy.

Allow the lentil loaf to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
