Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, sliced thin
  • 2 Serrano peppers, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the cornstarch, soy sauce, honey, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Add the sliced steak and toss to coat. Let sit for a few minutes.

  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the sliced Serrano peppers, bell pepper, and onion. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.

  3. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for another 30 seconds until fragrant.

  4. Add the marinated steak and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until cooked through.

  5. Serve over cooked rice.
