How To Make Leftover Turkey Chili Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups leftover turkey, shredded
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, cilantro

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and red pepper and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

  2. Add garlic and spices and cook for 1 minute.

  3. Add tomatoes, beans, turkey, and broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes.

  4. Serve chili hot with desired toppings.
