How To Make Spicy Chicken Patties

These juicy Spicy Chicken Patties truly packs a mighty punch of heat. The ground chicken is seasoned with cilantro, chipotle powder, cilantro, hot sauce, and grill seasoning to cook up flavorful, meaty patties. The bell peppers and onions add a nice crunch to the soft, moist chicken patties. You can serve them on a bed of rice or yummy burger buns!

Ingredients

  • 1 ⅓ lb ground chicken
  • 1 tbsp chipotle powder, ground
  • 3 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tbsp grill seasoning
  • ½ yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced and seeded
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced and seeded
  • hot sauce
  • olive oil, extra virgin

Instructions

  1. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat.

  2. Combine chicken, chipotle powder, cilantro, hot sauce, and grill seasoning together in a bowl.

  3. Divide the meat into 4 portions and form 4 large patties.

  4. Drizzle the patties with olive oil and cook for about 6 minutes on each side until cooked through.

  5. In a pan, heat a little bit of olive oil over medium heat. Then, stir-fry the bell peppers and onion together.

  6. Place the vegetables on top of the patties. Serve these Spicy Chicken Patties on a piping hot bed of rice or sandwiched in between burger buns!
