How To Make Hearty Crockpot Beef Stew

Fill loved ones’ tummies with a hearty crockpot beef stew. Beef, potatoes, and carrots are slow-cooked ’til tender and to bring out savory, meaty flavors.

Preparation: 20 minutes
Cooking: 2 hours 30 minutes
Total: 2 hours 50 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1packetMccormick® beef stew seasoning
  • 46ozv8 juice,(1 bottle)
  • 4celeries,thinly sliced
  • 1vidalia onion,sliced
  • 18ozcarrot,(1 bag)
  • 6red potatoes,cut into ⅛ sections
  • 1 ½lbsbeef stewing meat

Instructions

  1. Turn on Crockpot to High setting.

  2. Place stewing meat into the crockpot, along with ⅔ of the baby carrots and the sliced celery.

  3. Put one half of the onion aside. Dice the remaining half and add to the Crockpot. Add the potatoes.

  4. In a large bowl, mix 3 cups of V8 juice and the seasoning packet. Pour the liquid into the Crockpot.

  5. With a large cooking spoon, gently stir the stew until evenly mixed.

  6. Cook on High for 2 hours and 30 minutes, or until potatoes and carrots turn soft.

  7. Serve and enjoy!
