How To Make Creamy White Turkey Chili

Ingredients
- 2tbspvegetable oil
- 1large onion,chopped
- 4garlic cloves,minced
- 4cupschicken stock,or broth
- 2ozjalapeños,canned, chopped, or green chilies
- 2tbspfresh cilantro,chopped or 1 tsp dried cilantro
- 1tbspground cumin
- ½tspdried oregano
- 2lbsturkey meat,or chicken, cooked, shredded
- 15ozcannellini beans,or white beans, 3 cans
- ¾cuphalf and half,evaporated milk or heavy cream, divided
- 3tbspcornstarch
- salt and cracked black pepper,to taste
Instructions

Heat the oil in a pot over medium-high heat, then sauté the onion until soft.

Add the garlic, then sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in the stock, jalapeños, cilantro, cumin, and oregano.

Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add turkey and beans, then simmer for 5 minutes.

Mix the cornstarch with ¼ cup of half and half.

Stir then into the chili, then add in the remaining cream. Mix well to blend.

Take off the heat, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
