How To Make Easy Red Lentil Soup

- 2tbspolive oil
- 1cupwhite onion,chopped
- ½cupcelery,chopped
- ½cupcarrots,chopped
- ½cupred pepper,diced, roasted
- 3garlic cloves,chopped
- 3cupschicken broth,or vegetable broth
- 1cupred lentils
- 1tsppaprika,smoked
Instructions

Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onion, celery, carrots, roasted red pepper, and garlic and saute for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the onion is cooked and translucent.

Add the broth, lentils, and smoked paprika. Reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the lentils are cooked.
