How To Make Clam and Cauliflower Chowder Recipe
A creamy and comforting soup with tender clams and cauliflower in every bite!
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 head cauliflower, chopped into small pieces
- 1 can minced clams, drained
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions

Melt butter in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic; sauté until soft and fragrant, about 5 minutes.

Reduce heat to medium-low. Sprinkle flour over onion and garlic, stir well and cook for 2 minutes.

Increase heat to medium-high. Gradually whisk in chicken broth until mixture is smooth. Add heavy cream and cauliflower. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until cauliflower is tender, about 10-15 minutes.

Add clams to soup and simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot garnished with parsley.
