How To Make Slow Cooker Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork
For this pulled pork dish, we are adding cherries and cherry-flavored Dr. Pepper to the slow cooker to have that sweet and a little bit tart sauce.

- 5lbpork shoulder
- 1tspkosher salt
- ½tspblack pepper,ground
- 8yellow onion,whole, cut into wedges
- ½canchipotle peppers
- 8ozDr. Pepper cherry
- 2tbspbrown sugar
- 1cupmaraschino cherries,including juice
- ¼cupsweet jalapenos
Instructions

Put all the ingredients into the slow cooker together and cover the pork carefully with each ingredient.

Cover and cook on Low for 8 hours.

Serve the dish with a sauce made of leftover liquid but make sure to strain the fat.
