If you don’t want to go out and order a side of chili from Wendy’s then here is the simple recipe to make your own.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 can onion soup
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 2 can kidney beans, undrained
  • 6 tsp tomato paste
  • 15 tsp tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 6 cup V8 Vegetable juice

Instructions

  1. Heat a medium pan and brown the beef in oil over medium heat. Break meat into tiny pieces. 

  2. Place onion soup and half of cooked beef into a food processor process on high speed.

  3. Place with unblended beef into 2 1/2 qt. saucepan. 

  4. Add remaining ingredients, mix together and simmer until flavors are blended.
