How To Make Sour Cream Pork Chops
Buttery, fall-off-the-bone pork chops cooked with herbs makes the perfect weeknight dinner! Cook up a hearty serving in just under 2 hours.

Ingredients
- 2tbspbutter
- 4pork chops,thick-cut
- ½tspsalt
- ½tspblack pepper
- 1onion,sliced into rings
- 2garlic cloves,finely chopped
- ¼cupbasil,fresh, chopped
- 1large tomato,fresh, chopped
- 5large mushrooms,fresh, sliced
- ½cupmilk
- 10.5ozcondensed cream of chicken soup
- 4tspsour cream
Instructions

Melt the butter in a 4-quart saucepan over medium heat.

Sprinkle the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides, then transfer them in a saucepan.

Stir in the onion and garlic.

Cook for 3 minutes, then turn the pork chops and cook for 3 more minutes.

Stir in the basil, tomatoes, mushrooms, milk, and soup.

Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer.

After 30 minutes, turn the chops, and stir the contents.

Simmer for 30 minutes more.

Pour sauce over the chops, then top with 1 teaspoon of sour cream on each chop.
