How To Make Sauteed Cherry Tomatoes

Ingredients
- 2tbspolive oil,divided
- 20ozcherry tomatoes,(2 pints), or grape tomatoes
- salt and pepper
- 2garlic cloves,minced
- 1tbspfresh basil,minced
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high flame until it just starts to smoke.

Add the tomatoes, and season with salt and pepper.

Sauté for about 2 minutes, shaking the pan frequently, until the tomatoes soften and the skins just begin to wrinkle.

Stir in the garlic and continue to shake the pan until the garlic is fragrant.

Turn off the heat, stir in the basil, and the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil, then serve. Enjoy!
