New York Teriyaki (Red Robin Copycat)

Sink your teeth to this flavor-packed New York Teriyaki Chicken sandwich for a sweet, savory, and juicy bite, just like Red Robin's.

  • 3 chicken breasts
  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp seasoning blend, such as Nature's Seasons
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 6 slices pineapple, canned
  • 1 tomato , sliced
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 sesame seed buns


  1. Season the chicken and place in a zip-top bag with teriyaki sauce. Marinate in the fridge for 4 to 6 hours.

  2. Place chicken on a trivet in the Instant Pot with 1 cup water. Pressure cook on High for 1 minute, then natural release.

  3. Remove chicken from Instant Pot and immediately top each chicken breast with 2 slices of cheese.
  4. Layer chicken on a bun with 2 slices of pineapple, 1 slice of tomato, and shredded lettuce.

  5. Spread mayonnaise on top bun and place on top of sandwich.
  6. Serve and enjoy.
