How To Make Classic Ham and Cheese Sandwich Recipe

- 8 sliced bread
- 8 slices ham
- 8 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions

Preheat a pan or griddle over medium heat.

Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.

On the non-buttered side of 4 slices of bread, place a slice of ham and a slice of cheddar cheese.

Top each sandwich with another slice of bread, buttered side out.

Cook each sandwich for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
