Serve a simply wonderful side dish with this special salad recipe. It’s tossed with refreshing veggies, croutons, and cheese in a dash of lemon juice.

  • 2lemon,juiced
  • 5clovesgarlic,crushed
  • salt and pepper,to taste
  • 2headsromaine lettuce,rinsed and dried
  • ¼lbbacon,cooked and crumbled
  • 2cupscherry tomatoes
  • 1cupSwiss cheese,shredded
  • ½cupParmesan cheese,grated
  • cupalmonds,blanched slivered
  • 1cupgarlic croutons,flavored


  1. Whisk together the lemon juice, garlic. salt, and pepper.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the Romaine, bacon, tomatoes, Swiss cheese, Parmesan cheese, almonds, and croutons.

  3. Add enough dressing to coat. Toss and serve.
