This recipe for cabbage salad has added flavors from the addition of imitation crabmeat, bell peppers, broccoli, and a medley of herbs and spices.

  • cupscabbage,shredded
  • 1cupred cabbage,shredded
  • 1head fresh broccoli,cut into florets
  • 1bell pepper,green, sliced
  • 1bell pepper,red, sliced
  • 1lbimitation crabmeat,coarsely chopped
  • ¾cuplight mayonnaise
  • ¼cuplemon juice
  • 2tbspwhite sugar
  • 3tbspwhite wine vinegar
  • 1clove crushed garlic
  • tspWorcestershire sauce
  • ½tspsalt
  • ½tspground black pepper
  • ½tsphot pepper sauce


  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, sugar, white wine vinegar, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper, and chile sauce.

  2. In a large bowl, combine cabbage, broccoli, bell peppers, and crab. Toss mixture with dressing. Cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
