How To Make Lebanese Rubbed Salad

This refreshing rubbed salad makes a bowl loaded with flavors. Crisp greens in balsamic dressing are massaged with salt and pepper for extra deliciousness.

  • 10ozbaby salad greens,(1 bag) mixed
  • 1English cucumber,diced
  • 2clovesgarlic,minced
  • 10ozbasket cherry tomatoes,(1 basket) halved
  • cupfeta cheese,crumbled
  • tspsalt
  • black pepper,freshly ground, to taste
  • 2tbspbalsamic vinegar,aged
  • 2tbspolive oil,extra virgin


  1. Place the salad greens in a large bowl. Add the cucumber, garlic, cherry tomatoes, and Feta cheese. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, toss to blend. Drizzle with vinegar and olive oil.

  2. Using clean hands, rub the salad ingredients together for 2 minutes to thoroughly work the oil, vinegar, and seasonings into the greens.

  3. Serve and enjoy.
