Ingredients

  • 1 box (3 oz) banana Jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • Maraschino cherries (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve the Jello in boiling water and stir until completely dissolved.

  2. Add the cold water and mix to combine.

  3. Layer the sliced bananas in a 9×9 inch dish and pour half of the Jello mixture over the bananas.

  4. Chill for 1 hour or until the Jello is set.

  5. Spread the whipped topping over the Jello layer and chill again for 1 hour.

  6. Pour the remaining Jello mixture over the whipped topping.

  7. Chill for another hour or until completely set.

  8. Garnish with maraschino cherries (optional) and serve.
