How To Make Creamy Pea Salad with Bacon

Popular in the South, this pea salad is luscious, crispy, and filled with the irresistible goodness of crunchy bacon bits all throughout.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2lbspeas,thawed
  • ½cupred onion,chopped
  • cupscheddar cheese,cubed
  • 8slicesbacon,cooked and chopped
  • 3tbspparsley,chopped
  • ½cupsour cream
  • 3tbspmayonnaise
  • 1tbspcider vinegar
  • 1tbspsugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add the peas, red onion, cheddar cheese, bacon and parsley. 

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise, cider vinegar, and sugar.

  3. Pour the creamy mixture in the large bowl over the peas. Toss until the peas are fully coated.

  4. Chill for 30 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
