How To Make Asian Ramen Salad

Ramen salad is an accessible way to use simple Asian ingredients. It has a coleslaw mix and almonds tossed in salad vinegar and canola oil.

  • 2bagscoleslaw mix
  • 3pkgsChicken Ramen Noodles,set seasoning packets aside
  • cupsalmonds,sliced
  • ½cupbutter
  • ½cupcanola oil
  • ¼cupsalad vinegar
  • cupsugar
  • 3Chicken Ramen Noodle flavor packets


  1. Place 3 bags of ramen noodles in a large plastic bag and break up.

  2. Melt stick of butter in skillet over medium-high heat. Add noodles and almonds to a skillet.

  3. Stir and cook until toasted and lightly browned. Spread onto a cookie sheet and let cool.

  4. In a medium container mix vinegar, oil, sugar and ramen seasoning packets. Close lid tight and shake well. Set aside.

  5. Right before serving add cole slaw to a large bowl. Top with noodle mixture and dressing.

  6. Mix and serve immediately.
