A wonderful recipe for tasty beef roast on a budget! A delectable roast in just an hour, this recipe makes use of the crockpot to gather and roast everything together to ensure a juicy and flavorful slab of beef that would easily feed a family two meals over.

Ingredients

  • 3 lb roast beef, pork, or wild game
  • 2 pkg brown gravy mix
  • 1 pkg beef stew mix
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 2 carrots, sliced or diced
  • 2 green bell peppers
  • ½ onion
  • 3 green onions
  • 67 red potatoes, small, whole or quartered or 2 cubed russets
  • salt and pepper , to taste
  • 1 tsp Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning
  • water

Instructions

  1. Throw all ingredients in the crockpot or pressure cooker.
  2. Add water until it covers the roast.
  3. Cook down until tender, adding water as necessary.
  4. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
  5. Change, add or adjust seasonings to taste.
