Tomatoes are a great dish all by itself because of its sweet and sour taste. Try these oven-roasted tomatoes which alleviate the flavor of the fruit.

- 3lbstomatoes
- 1tbspolive oil
- ½tbspbalsamic vinegar
- 1clovegarlic,minced
- 1tbspfresh basil,chopped
- 2tbspparmesan cheese,shredded, optional
- salt and pepper,to taste

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

Wash tomatoes and cut them in half.

Toss tomatoes with remaining ingredients.
