Had enough of oily and greasy side dishes? Well, here’s a healthier alternative: by roasting cauliflower tossed in healthy olive oil. Taste it for yourself.

Ingredients

  • 1cauliflower head
  • 3tbspolive oil
  • ½tspgarlic powder
  • ¼tsplemon zestoptional
  • ½tspItalian Seasoning
  • ¼tspsalt
  • ¼tsppepper
  • 3tbspparmesan cheeseshredded, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

  2. Combine olive oil and seasonings.

  3. Wash cauliflower and break apart into similarly sized pieces. Dry very well.

  4. Toss cauliflower with prepared oil and seasoning mixture and mix well.

  5. Roast 10 to 15 minutes. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese if using and broil 1 to 2 minutes.
