How To Make Easy Pork Roast

Make a delicious and filling dinner with this easy pork roast that’s seasoned with caraway seeds and sage, then roasted into tender, juicy meat.

Ingredients

  • 3lbspork loin roast
  • tspcaraway seed
  • 1tspground black pepper
  • tspsalt
  • tspground sage
  • ½tspbrowning sauce
  • 2tbspcornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

  2. In a small bowl combine the caraway seeds, black pepper, salt and sage. Rub mixture all over the pork.

  3. Place pork into a shallow roasting pan and bake, uncovered for about 30 minutes per pound until an internal temperature of 145 degrees F is reached.

  4. Remove roast from pan, set aside, and cover. Pour pan drippings into a measuring cup and add enough water to equal 2 cups.

  5. Pour into a small saucepan and stir in the browning sauce and cornstarch. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth.

  6. Raise heat and bring to a boil. Cook until thickened. Serve alongside the pork roast.
