How To Make Beef Shawarma

Ingredients

  • 2lbflap steak
  • 6tbspolive oil
  • large lemons,juiced
  • 2tbspallspice
  • 1tbspcoriander
  • 1tbsppaprika
  • 1tbspcumin
  • tspsalt,to taste
  • 1tspgarlic powder
  • 1tspsumac
  • ½tspblack pepper
  • ¼tspturmeric
  • 1dashcinnamon

Instructions

  1. Slice the flap steak into small, thin slices. Transfer into a bowl.

  2. Add the olive oil, lemon juice, and spices to the steak. Mix to evenly marinate the steak.

  3. Cover and place in the fridge from 30 minutes up to overnight.

  4. Heat a well-oiled skillet or pan over high heat. Add the meat and cook just until redness is gone and the beef turns a dark brown color. Remove from heat.

  5. Serve in a wrap, in a salad, sandwich, or a shawarma quesadilla, and enjoy!
