- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.

Gradually add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients.

Using a wooden spoon or your hands, mix until a dough forms.

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a clean kitchen towel. Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Punch down the dough and divide it into 4 equal portions.
