How To Make Mexican Stuffed Shells with Turkey

Enjoy a warm plate of stuffed shells loaded with filling turkey and tasteful taco seasoning for a hearty meal! Just cook it up in under two hours.

  • 12ozjumbo pasta shells,1 box
  • 2lbsground turkey
  • 7ozgreen chiles,1 can, chopped
  • ¾cupwater
  • 1.25oztaco seasoning,1 package
  • 1cupsalsa
  • cupscheddar cheese,shredded


  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.

  2. Cook the pasta shells in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, for 12 minutes until tender yet firm to the bite. Drain.

  3. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  4. Combine the turkey, chopped green chiles, water, and taco seasoning in a large saucepan.

  5. Cook and stir for 8 to 10 minutes until the turkey is cooked through and the moisture is absorbed. Remove from heat.

  6. Spread the salsa in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

  7. Stuff each pasta shell with some of the turkey mixture, then arrange on top of the salsa in the baking dish.

  8. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, then cover the pan with aluminum foil.

  9. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  10. Serve, and enjoy!
