How To Make Fusilli Bolognese

Delight your guests with the beautiful swirls of fusilli with meat sauce made with ground beef, a splash of red wine, some onion, garlic, and seasonings.

Ingredients

  • 1lblean ground beef
  • 1small onion,diced
  • 2clovesgarlic,minced
  • 1tspItalian seasoning
  • ¼cupred wine,or beef broth
  • 24ozmarinara sauce,or pasta sauce
  • 8ozfusilli,or medium pasta
  • ¼cupmozzarella cheese,shredded
  • 2tbspparmesan cheese,grated

Instructions

  1. Brown beef, onion, and garlic in a deep skillet over medium-high heat until no pink remains. Drain fat.

  2. While the beef is browning, cook pasta in salted water just until al dente. Drain but do not rinse.

  3. Stir in red wine and Italian seasoning. Simmer for about 3 minutes until it evaporates. Add sauce and simmer a few minutes more. Stir in cooked pasta and simmer for about 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through.

  4. Top with cheeses and serve.
