
How To Make Easy Pizza Pasta

Ingredients
- 2tspolive oil
- 1lbItalian sausage,mild, casings removed
- ½cuponion,finely diced
- ¾cupmini pepperoni,divided use
- 1tspgarlic,minced
- 24ozmarinara sauce
- 2½cupswater
- salt and pepper,to taste
- 12ozrotini,or penne or other short pasta
- 1½cupsmozzarella cheese,shredded
- 1tbspparsley,chopped
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large, deep pan over medium heat.

Add the sausage, then cook for 4 to 5 minutes, breaking up the meat with a spatula, until browned.

Add the onion to the pan, then cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until translucent.

Add ½ cup of pepperoni and the garlic, then cook for 1 minute.

Add the marinara sauce, water, salt, pepper and pasta to the pot, then bring to a simmer.

Cover the pot, then cook over low heat for 12 to 14 minutes or until the pasta is tender.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Sprinkle the cheese over the pasta, then arrange the remaining ¼ cup of pepperoni on the cheese.

Bake for 4 to 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Sprinkle with parsley, serve, and enjoy!
