How To Make Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Sink your teeth into these stuffed chicken breasts filled with spinach and cream for a filling dinner meal! Whip this up in just 20 minutes.

  • 4chicken breasts,boneless skinless
  • 8mozzarella cheese slices,about 4 oz total
  • 1tbspbutter
  • 1tbspflour
  • 1garlic clove,minced
  • ½cupchicken broth
  • ¾cupheavy cream
  • 2tbspparmesan,grated
  • 2cupsspinach,fresh
  • salt and pepper,to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

  2. Butterfly each chicken breast, then fill it with two slices of mozzarella cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Heat a large pan with olive oil, then add the chicken breasts, cooking both sides for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown.

  4. Bake the chicken for 18 to 20 minutes.

  5. Melt the butter in a separate pan, then add the garlic, and cook for 30 seconds.

  6. Stir in the flour, then cook until evenly combined.

  7. Add the chicken broth, then bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.

  8. Mix in the heavy cream, then continue to stir it constantly for 3 to 4 minutes until the sauce is thickened.

  9. Stir in the spinach and parmesan cheese, then cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until the spinach is wilted.

  10. Remove the chicken from the oven, then add it to the sauce pan, simmering them together for 2 minutes.

  11. Serve warm, and enjoy!
