How To Make Skillet Cajun Spiced Flounder with Tomatoes

This Skillet Cajun Spiced Flounder is deliciously cooked with tomatoes, onions, peppers, and cajun spice for a bold spicy flavor with a subtle earthiness.

Ingredients

  • 1tspolive oil
  • 4pcsflounder fillets,(6 oz each), or any white fish such as tilapia
  • ¾cuponion,chopped
  • 2garlic cloves,minced
  • ¾cupgreen bell pepper,diced
  • cupstomatoes,chopped
  • 1tbspcajun spice seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a deep skillet, cook onion and garlic in olive oil on medium heat for a few minutes until soft.

  2. Add tomatoes, peppers, and spices; stir and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes until tomatoes are soft.

  3. Lay fish fillets in the sauce, then cover and cook on medium-low for about 12 to 15 minutes until fish flakes easily.

  4. Place fish on plate and spoon sauce on top. Serve immediately.
