Pork Chop Skillet Dinner Recipe

This pork chop dinner is a great recipe for when you don’t want to turn on the oven but still want good, hot food.

 

Here's a quick meal you can have for dinner. The orange adds that zesty flavor that complements with the pork chops' savory and meaty taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil , or vegetable oil
  • 4 pork shoulder chops, ¾-inch thick
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cup regular long-grain white rice, uncooked
  • 1 cup Campbell's Condensed Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 3 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 orange slices

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in skillet.
  2. Add chops and cook until browned.
  3. Add onion and rice and cook until rice is browned.
  4. Stir in broth, orange juice and 2 tbsp parsley.

  5. Heat to a boil.
  6. Cover and cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done.
  7. Top with orange slices and sprinkle with remaining parsley.
