
How To Make Collard Greens
This collard greens recipe is a southern-inspired dish made with collard greens that are pan-fried to perfection and tossed with flavorful spices and bacon.

Ingredients
- 1tbspbutter
- 8bacon slices,chopped
- 1onion,finely diced, small
- 1lbcollard greens
- 2garlic cloves
- 1¼cupschicken broth
- Salt and pepper ,to taste
Instructions

Wash greens and using a sharp knife, cut out the woody stem. Cut into ¾ pieces.

Cook chopped bacon and butter over medium heat in a pan until crisp. Remove a few slices for garnish.

Add onions to bacon grease and cook until softened for about 3 minutes.

Add greens and garlic. Cook until slightly wilted for about 3 to 4 minutes.

Add broth, cover, and cook over a low simmer for 35 to 40 minutes or until tender.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
