How To Make Chop Steak

This chop steak is a great hamburger steak recipe that is reminiscent of those delicious diner meals. Marinate ahead for maximum flavor.

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ¾ cup soft bread crumbs
  • tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup onion, finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • tsp pepper
  • ¾ lb ground beef


  1. In a bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into two half-inch thick patties.

  2. Pan-fry or broil for 5 to 7 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160 degrees F.

  3. Serve and enjoy!
