How To Make Chicken With Sun-Dried Tomato Cream Sauce

How can you say no to a juicy-licious chicken meal loaded with lots of flavorful herbs and spices paired with a thick, tangy, and yummy tomato cream sauce?

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 6chicken thighs,bone-in, skin-on
  • salt,to taste
  • pepper,to taste
  • 3tbspunsalted butter
  • 4garlic cloves,sliced
  • 1cupchicken broth
  • ½cupheavy cream
  • cupsun-dried tomato
  • 1tspdried oregano
  • 1tspdried thyme
  • ¼cupbasil,fresh sliced

Instructions

  1. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.

  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, skin-side down, and sear both sides until golden brown. Drain excess fat and set aside.

  3. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in the skillet. Add garlic. Stir until fragrant, then add chicken broth, heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, dried oregano, dried thyme, and fresh basil and reduce heat to low. Return chicken to the skillet and baste well.

  4. Bake at 400 degrees F for about 25 minutes.

  5. Serve immediately and drizzle the remaining broth mixture over chicken. Enjoy!
