How To Make Chicken Keema
Chicken keema is a traditional Indian dish of minced chicken, tomatoes, onions, and a tasty mix of herbs & spices. Try it out for a taste of something new.

Ingredients
- 4tbspolive oil
- 1onion,chopped
- 2tspfresh ginger,grated
- 3garlic cloves,chopped
- 1tspgaram masala
- ½tspturmeric
- ½tspcoriander powder
- 1tsppaprika
- ½tspchili powder
- ½tspcumin
- 5cardamom pods
- 5whole cloves
- 1bay leaf
- 3mint leaves,chopped
- 1lbground chicken
- 1cuppeas
- 2roma tomatoes,chopped
- 1serrano pepper,remove at least half the seeds
- ½cupcoconut milk
Instructions

Sauté onions, garlic and ginger in a pan with olive oil, over medium heat for about 7 minutes then move this onion mix to the sides of the pan.

Add in the ground chicken and stir for about 5 minutes.

As soon as it begins to brown and extra liquid starts to seep from it, add the bay leaf, the mint leaves, Serrano pepper, the cardamom pods and whole cloves.

Add grama masala, turmeric, coriander, paprika, cumin, and chili powder and sauté for about another 5 minutes.

Add in the green peas and tomatoes and coconut milk and let cook for about 5 more minutes, making sure to stir well so the coconut milk deglazes the pan.

Remove bay leaf and enjoy warm with veggies or rice or naan.
