  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup water


  1. Heat butter until melted; add eggs.
  2. Fry until white is starting to set.
  3. Salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Add water and cover immediately. The steam will cook the top of the eggs; it takes just 1 minute or so, depending on how well done is desired.
