How To Make Haluski Noodles

This Haluski noodle dish mixes the traditional Polish fried cabbage recipe with egg noodles for an easy, flavorful soup to keep you warm during winter.

Ingredients

  • 8ozegg noodlesmedium
  • 4bacon
  • ½cupunsalted butterdivided
  • 1yellow onionchopped
  • 1cabbage
  • 1tspkosher salt
  • ½tspground black peppercoarse

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and cook the noodles in a large pot. Drain and set aside.

  2. Add the bacon to the pot and cook until just before crisp on medium heat then remove the bacon and add in the butter, onion, and cabbage, cooking until the onion is translucent, about 5 to 6 minutes on medium heat.

  3. Add in the noodles, bacon, salt, and pepper, mix well and pour into a large baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
